For team promotion qualifications you cannot take more than 50% of APV from one leg. Other words if you wrote nothing and you had 2 agents that both wrote 20,000 and you are at MGA trying to go to VP level which requires $40,000 as a team you cannot claim all their APV to hit the promotion.
